Cortisol Appetite Control
Control your levels of cortisol (stress hormone). Too much cortisol (from too much stress or not enough sleep) leads to increased appetite, excessive fat storage, and poor blood sugar control.
People with too much cortisol find it nearly impossible to lose weight - even if they are on the "perfect" diet and exercise program. Steps 1 and 2 above will help to control cortisol levels to a certain degree, but check out some of the cortisol controlling dietary supplements that I review in this area. For more information on cortisol control, cortisol appettite control and the concept that "stress makes you fat" - check out The Cortisol Connection (www.cortisolconnection.com)
Choose your weight loss supplement. Only after attending to the first 3 steps, should you consider turning to a weight loss supplement - if you turn to a supplement before fully addressing diet, exercise, and cortisol appetite control, your weight loss supplement is destined to fail.
Let's say that you HAVE addressed diet, exercise, and cortisol along with cortisol appetite control - and you're ready to add a weight loss supplement to your daily regimen - WHICH ONE (from the hundreds available) do you choose? We feel that you should pick a weight loss supplement based on how effective it is likely to be FOR YOU - which means that you'll need to ask yourself about your primary "needs" when it comes to controlling weight. Are you a carb-craver? If so, then you may want a supplement that controls your hunger, your cortisol appetite control and your urge to snack on sweets (such as banaba or chromium).
Do you generally follow a good diet and exercise plan, but you need to burn off a few more calories? If so, then you may want a supplement that increases metabolic rate (such as green tea extract) and provides cortisol appetite control like the cortisol controlling supplement CortiDiet, Cortislim or Relacore.
